David Drake is the Lead Pastor and founder of CrossWinds Church in Godwin Heights an urban neighborhood in Grand Rapids, MI. Godwin Heights where Dave was born and raised is home to people from over 50 nations. David and his wife of 15 years Libbie planted CrossWinds along with a handful of others in 2001. The church like the neighborhood is very diverse with many nations represented. Dave and Libbie are both alumni of Cornerstone University and have 4 children. Dave is a part of Converge Worldwide and his passion is seeing new Multi-ethnic churches started and CrossWinds will launch a new plant and a new site in 2011.
