Jonathan grew up in Latin America as a missionary kid and has been the pastor of Grace Church (PCA) in Dover, Delaware since 1983. In the late 90s God put him on a journey that would open his eyes to the biblical vision of people from every nation, tribe, people and language, gathered as one in the worship of God, a vision to which he is passionately committed. He led his pastoral staff, elders and congregation to embrace a vision for reaching out across the lines of race & class to bring diverse people together in a local church thus demonstrating the power of the gospel to reconcile people to God and to one another. Jonathan has helped organize Mosaix Conferences in the North East region of the U.S. and is active in his denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America, seeking to spread the vision for multi-ethnic local churches. Jonathan is a graduate of Houghton College and Biblical Theological Seminary and received a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis where he now serves on the Board of Trustees.
