Dan Backens is the senior pastor of New Life Providence Church - a 2500 member multi-ethnic church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He and his congregation have coined the word 'trans-ethnicity' which means the value of establishing churches around kingdom values which transcend cultural and ethnic differences. Pastor Dan holds a Master’s Degree in Church History and Renewal Theology from Regent University. He is married to Rhonda and together they have 3 adult children
